FAQ's

What is a water fed pole?

A water fed pole (WFP) is a telescopic pole with a brush attachment on one end. Small hose is fed through the pole and out of the brush head. This system avoids working at height so is both safer and more effective than the traditional method of window cleaning.

Do you use pure water and what is it?

Yes, the water in Bedford is very hard. With TDS (total dissolved solids) reading of around 350 parts per million coming from your tap. If used, this leaves marks from a build up of calcium & magnesium (limescale) directly on your windows. The water Primero Window Cleaning uses to clean your windows has a TDS reading of 000 parts per million, meaning it is completely pure.

Why are the windows left wet?

To avoid any streaks pure water is best left to dry naturally, leaving a crystal clear finish. Wiping with a cloth can cause dirt and contaminants from the clothing transferred and smearing the glass.

Do I need to be in?

No, we can discuss how you would like me to access the rear of the property. If you would prefer to be in that is fine too and we can arrange a time that suits us both.

What do you use to clean the inside?

For inside clean we use the traditional window cleaning method of an applicator and squeegee.
